Councilman Flotteron Attends Open House for “Safe Digging” Group

Islip, NY – Islip Town Councilman Steve Flotteron recently attended the open house ceremony for New York 811, whose mission is to provide instant information on what infrastructure lies below ground on construction sites. Local governments, contractors, and homeowners can utilize this service and find out the precise location of electrical lines, water pipes, or gas lines on or near the site in question.
