Islip Officials Team Up with Sheriff DeMarco to Fight Youth Drug Use

Islip, NY – Islip Town Councilman Steve Flotteron and Councilwoman Trish Bergin Weichbrodt have joined Sheriff Vincent DeMarco in his effort to aid parents who are worried about drug use among their children. The Sheriff’s office has created an initiative called “Test – Don’t Guess” which supplies simple but effective drug testing equipment to parents. The kits are easy to use and can get accurate results in a short time.

Parents interested in acquiring a free “Test – Don’t Guess” drug testing kit should call the Islip Youth Bureau at 224-5320.
